Slight Divergence

Yeah…remember that plan to go lift weights yesterday? I didn’t do that.

Instead, I did Janet’s daily challenge. Which was freaking HARD! It was 10 push-ups and a 60 second elbow plank.

Oh, you think it’s easy?

The rest of the day went really well. I was able to work with a client that I love and a team I adore. Ever had one of those days where you think “This is why I do what I do”? That sums up my day. It took nearly two and a half hours to get home and I had just enough time to get ready for trick or treaters. By the time I had run out of candy I was dead tired.

I realized yesterday that while the last time I stepped on the scale I had only lost .4lbs, I’m now looking and feeling different. Most notably, I don’t crave sweets the way I typically do. If I stick with my plan and drink my water, my juice and my smoothie, I don’t really want or need anything else.

It feels great! I’m just hoping the trend  continues.
